Learn from a professional waterman! Born and raised on the north shore with a lifetime of ocean safety & experience. Chance is a big wave surfer & expert tube rider. You will be learning from chance personally! All skill levels are welcome. We start with a quick beach instruction, go over ocean safety, surf etiquette, how to navigate the lineup, & standing on your board! Sessions are 90 minutes, you're guaranteed to get some great waves. Sunset Sessions are recommended! Learn with your family, a friend, or if you're looking to learn the fastest you can book a 1 on 1. Weather you are a total beginner, or an advanced wave rider looking to sharpen your skills, this is the surf class for you. Enjoy a beautiful day on the North Shore surfing into the sunset! Q: What's the age limit for kids to join the surf class?

A: Kids as young as 8 can join! Chance is super great with kids and makes it fun and safe. They just need to be able to swim a bit. If your kiddo's younger, you might want to book a private lesson to give them more attention.

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the scheduled day?

A: If the weather's really bad, they'll reschedule for you. Chance will keep you updated about conditions. It's all about safety first! I booked a session, and we had to move it due to high surf, but it was no hassle at all.

Q: What should I wear for the surf lesson?

A: Comfortable swimwear is best! The rash guard is included, and you can wear board shorts or a swimsuit. Just remember to put on sunscreen! You’ll be out there for a bit, and the sun can be intense.

Thinking about this surf lesson for my brother's birthday!

So I'm looking to surprise my brother with the 'Learn to Surf' experience on the North Shore. He’s never surfed before, but I think he would have a blast! Chance sounds like an awesome instructor, and I love that sessions are 90 minutes. Is it really beginner-friendly? Also, do they have options for sunset sessions? That’d be perfect for a birthday gift!

Just did a surf lesson with Chance and it was epic!

I can’t believe how much I learned in just 90 minutes! Chance is such a chill dude and really knows his stuff. He made me feel totally comfortable even though I was a total newbie. I caught some decent waves, too! Highly recommend going for the sunset session—just beautiful. Aloha vibes all around!
