Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the LED Bio Comb Jelly Kayak tour?

A: You should definitely wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothing since you might get splashed! Water shoes aren’t allowed in the clear bottom kayaks, so flip-flops or bare feet are fine. I also recommend bringing a light jacket or hoodie for when it gets cooler at night. It’s a good idea to use some mosquito repellent too, just in case!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this kayak tour?

A: There’s no specific age limit listed, but children should be comfortable in the water and able to wear a life jacket. If they are small, I’d suggest a tandem kayak so you can paddle together. Just make sure to call ahead about gear reservations to ensure they have child-sized life jackets available!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day of our tour?

A: If the weather looks nasty, they’ll likely reschedule or cancel for safety reasons. They usually contact you through email or text if there's an issue. It’s best to double-check their cancellation policy while booking. I’d suggest having a flexible schedule just in case!

Just booked the LED Bio Comb Jelly tour in Cocoa Beach!

I'm so excited! I booked the kayak tour for next week and I can’t wait to see the glowing water. I heard that the bioluminescent dinoflagellates are amazing in the summer. Has anyone done this? Any tips on what to expect? I really want to make the most out of this experience!

Amazing experience on the paddleboard bio tour!

I just got back from the LED Bio tour and wow, it was incredible! The water looked like stars were dancing all around us. We saw tons of glowing jellies and the guides were super friendly. Don’t forget your camera (for the pics after dark) but keep it in a waterproof bag. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique outing!
