This experience combines vibrant LED under-glow lighting with calm urban waters, creating one of Orlando’s most unique nighttime adventures. Launching from Lake Ivanhoe just north of downtown, you’ll paddle in a setting where glowing water meets city skyline reflections. Unlike typical night tours, the clear kayaks and boards allow you to see the illuminated water directly beneath you, enhancing the after-dark atmosphere without overwhelming the natural setting. The lake’s no-current, no-boat-traffic, and no-alligator environment makes it especially comfortable for beginners. Your guide provides a brief lesson before departure and stays nearby throughout the tour, ensuring a relaxed and supportive experience. Complimentary photos are included so you can capture the glow. After your paddle, continue the evening in Ivanhoe Village, with walkable restaurants and lakeside green space just steps from the launch point.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this kayaking experience? Thinking of gifting it to my 14-year-old.

A: Hey Mike! There's no strict age limit, but they recommend that participants be at least 12 years old to paddle on their own. Since your kid is 14, they should be all set! Just make sure they can swim, as a safety precaution. Also, it's a fun experience even for beginners!

Q: How do weather cancellations work? I live in Orlando and summer storms are a thing.

A: Hi there! If there's bad weather, they typically reach out to reschedule your experience. They want to keep everyone safe, so if it’s looking stormy, you’ll be notified ASAP. Just keep an eye on the weather and be ready to contact them if you think conditions aren’t ideal!

Q: What should I wear for the LED kayak experience? Is it chilly at night on the water?

A: Great question! I'd recommend wearing something comfy, like athletic wear or a swimsuit, and don’t forget a light jacket if you’re sensitive to cooler temps at night! It can get a bit breezy, especially on the water. Also, flip-flops or water shoes are a good idea, too!

Just did the LED Kayak experience in Orlando - Amazing!

I went on the LED Glow in the Dark Clear Kayak tour last weekend, and it was such a unique experience! Paddling around Lake Ivanhoe at night with the glowing water was like something out of a dream. The guide was super chill and took some great pics of us. If you’re looking for a fun gift, I'd totally recommend it! They launch from Ivanhoe, and afterward, we grabbed dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. 10/10 must-do!

Thinking of gifting the LED Paddleboard experience!

I'm considering this for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves water sports but has never done anything like this at night. Do you think it’s beginner-friendly? Also, how long is the tour? I want to make sure it’s a good experience for him. Thanks!
