Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit for the Lighthouse Bicycle Tour, but it's best suited for kids around 12 and up. They should be comfortable riding a bike for about three hours with some stops. Just make sure your nephew is ready for a bit of pedaling! Also, bringing a lunch is a great idea since the tour can work up quite an appetite.
A: Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, like athletic shorts or leggings, and a breathable top. Don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses since you'll be out in the sun. If you have a helmet, bring it along, but they might provide one. Also, shoes with a good grip for biking are a must!
A: If it rains, the tour can be rescheduled without any issues. Just reach out to Lighthouse Bikes as soon as you know you can't make it. They’re really flexible about it, so you should be able to find another time that fits. Always best to check the weather before heading out!

Just did the Lighthouse Bicycle Tour and it was amazing!
I went on the Lighthouse Bicycle Tour last weekend and it was one of the best experiences ever! We started at 11 AM, rode along the Greenbelt, and hit three lighthouses. Bug Light was super cute, and the Portland Head Light is just stunning. I recommend bringing a lunch because we stopped at a food truck for Lobster Rolls afterward and they were delicious! Totally worth it as a gift for anyone who loves the outdoors.
Thinking of gifting the Lighthouse Tour to my parents!
I'm considering getting the Lighthouse Bicycle Tour for my parents this Christmas. They love biking and the coast! Do you think it’s a good idea? Also, how long does it typically take? I want to make sure they’ll enjoy it. Any tips would help!
