Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Llama/Alpaca hike?

A: Yes, kids of all ages are welcome! However, they should be able to walk alongside the llamas/alpacas during the hike. The farm is very family-friendly, but it's a good idea to keep an eye on younger ones since there are other animals around. Just make sure everyone wears comfortable shoes for walking!

Q: What should we wear for the hike? Is it muddy?

A: Definitely wear comfy, closed-toe shoes! The paths can get a bit muddy if it rained recently, so waterproof shoes are a plus. Dress in layers since it can get chilly in the Hudson Valley. And don't forget to bring sunscreen if it's sunny!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather's bad on the day of our hike?

A: Yes, Clover Brooke Farm is very accommodating! If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can reach out to them, and they’ll help you find another date that works. Just try to call a day ahead if you can, so they have time to arrange everything.

Thinking about gifting the Llama/Alpaca experience - any tips?

Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the Llama/Alpaca hike at Clover Brooke Farm to my sister for her birthday. She loves animals and I think she’d have a blast! Has anyone done it? How long is the hike and are the animals really friendly? I want to make sure it’s fun and not too strenuous.

Review of our magical Llama/Alpaca hike!

Just wanted to share our experience at Clover Brooke Farm! We went for the Llama/Alpaca hike last week, and it was honestly one of the best days ever! The farm is beautiful and the hike was super chill. We took tons of selfies with the llamas! The staff was friendly and informative too. Highly recommend it for a fun day out!
