Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the walking tours?

A: Yes, there is a minimum age requirement of 12 years old for the tours. Kids under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. It's a great way to introduce teenagers to local cuisine without being too boring! Just make sure they can handle the walking involved.

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Is it mostly outdoors?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot through downtown Salt Lake City. The tour is mostly outdoors but does include some time inside restaurants. Dress in layers depending on the weather, as it can get chilly or warm in the same day!

Q: How do I get there? Is parking available near the start point?

A: There are several parking options around downtown Salt Lake City. Most tours start near Pioneer Park, and you can find street parking or use nearby parking garages for a fee. I recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes early to find a good spot and not feel rushed!

Thinking of gifting the Local Food Walking Tour in SLC!

I'm considering getting the Local Food Walking Tour for my foodie friend’s birthday. Has anyone done this yet? I saw you get tastings at 4 different restaurants downtown, and I’m curious if it’s worth it. Are the portions decent? Also, any standout restaurants to look forward to?

Just got back from the Local Food Walking Tour!

Wow, what an experience! We went to four different places, and each one was better than the last. The guide was super knowledgeable about the history and culture of SLC. The pizza place was my favorite! Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy some local eats.
