Drink•Eat•Walk small group evening food & drink neighborhood walking tours explore beyond tourist Washington in to the streets & places we DC locals hang out in, so you can experience the true flavor of the city. This local neighborhood Washington DC food tour dives into two of our city's most beloved areas — Dupont Circle's streets are filled with stately embassies, charming row homes, and fabulous people; Adams Morgan is DC's most eclectic neighborhood, bursting with sights, smells, and flavors from around the world. We stop for eats & drinks in six different places, learning about the communities and culture that built and sustain DC in each one. In between, we'll walk the streets in a way that gives you a true feel for each neighborhood. This tour is all about having a great group experience & solo travelers are definitely welcome. We'll get to know each other as we eat, drink, & learn our way into the night in this great city we locals call home. Food tour DC like a local!

Q: What's the age limit for this food tour? Can kids join?

A: The food tour is recommended for ages 21 and up since there are alcoholic drinks included. However, they do offer non-alcoholic options, so if you have a teenager who loves food, they can totally join! Just keep in mind that it's more of an adult vibe overall.

Q: Can you reschedule if plans change?

A: Yes! You can reschedule your tour with at least 48 hours notice. Just reach out to DrinkEatWalk directly, and they’ll help you find another date that works. It’s super flexible!

Q: What should I wear on the tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! There’s quite a bit of walking between stops, but it’s all at a relaxed pace. Dress for the weather, but layers are a good idea since you'll be going indoors and outdoors. And don’t forget your appetite!

Thinking of gifting the DC Food Tour! Any thoughts?

I’m considering gifting the Local Neighborhood Food Tour to my sister for her birthday. She loves trying new foods and exploring neighborhoods. Has anyone done it? How was the vibe? I heard there’s a seafood slider and a communal Ethiopian platter! Sounds amazing, but I want to make sure it’s worth it.

Anyone else a bit nervous about the walking part?

I really want to do this DC food tour, but I’m not in the best shape. How much walking is involved? Are there breaks? I don’t want to hold the group back, ya know? Any tips would be appreciated!
