Los Angeles is always changing and you’ll witness it on our Central Downtown LA tour. Thought LA doesn’t have a downtown? It does and it’s the most dynamic, interesting part of the city. Many tourists don't know of DTLA (as it’s known here), but Angelenos do and they’re voting with their feet, as every week new restaurants, bars, Apple stores and apartment blocks open here. Many people don’t realize it’s also the best-preserved historic downtown of any major city in America (with great architecture). Join our Central Downtown LA tour and learn about the neighborhood where the city was born. We also stop for lunch at Grand Central Market (one of the best places in the U.S. for food according to Bon Appetit). * Tour starts 1pm daily * Children under 12 y.o. gain free entry * There’s a big range of food options and all types of diet can be accommodated (vegan, gluten-free etc)

Q&A

Q: Is there a lot of walking involved on this tour? I have a friend who isn't in the best shape.

A: Hey Cathy! The Central Downtown LA tour does include a fair amount of walking, but it's not too strenuous. It's broken up with stops at interesting sites, so you get to rest a bit. Just make sure your friend wears comfortable shoes, and they should be fine!

Q: What are the parking options like near Grand Central Market?

A: Great question! There are several parking lots around Grand Central Market, but they can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. There's also street parking, but be careful of the signs! I'd recommend arriving a bit early to find a good spot.

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? Are there age limits?

A: Absolutely! Kids under 12 can join for free, which is a great deal. The tour is pretty family-friendly, plus kids usually find the architecture and food options at Grand Central Market super fun. Just keep an eye on them in the busy areas!

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Downtown LA tour as a gift for my sister's birthday. She's always raving about food and architecture. I’ve read they stop at Grand Central Market, which sounds awesome! Has anyone done this? How was the tour?
