Q&A
A: There's no specific age limit for the Getty Center! Kids of all ages can enjoy the art and architecture. However, younger kids might not get as much from the audio tour. It's great for older kids who can appreciate the stories behind the artworks. Plus, it’s mostly walking, so be prepared for some tired little feet!
A: Getting to the Getty Center is pretty straightforward! You can drive, and there’s ample parking available for $20, which you pay upon entry. Just be aware that traffic can get crazy in LA, so plan to arrive early to avoid any stress. Also, don’t forget to check if there are any special events that day that might affect parking.
A: Yes, you can reschedule your timed entry! Just go on the Getty Center's website or app and select a new time. It’s pretty flexible, but do it as soon as you can since popular time slots fill up fast. They really want to make sure everyone has a good experience, so just check the availability.

Planning to gift the Getty Center experience - any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m thinking of gifting the Getty Center reserved entry and audio tour to my sister's family for their visit to LA. I've heard it's an amazing place with its architecture and art! I love that it's free, but I'm curious if anyone has tips on what to wear or how to make the most out of the audio tour. Any must-see spots inside?
Just went to the Getty Center - wow!
I just visited the Getty Center with my wife last weekend, and wow, it was an incredible experience! The audio tour made it so engaging, especially the section on Van Gogh’s works. The architecture is stunning, and we ended up taking tons of photos. If you’re thinking of going, definitely take your time and enjoy the gardens! Oh, and the view of Santa Monica is breathtaking!
