Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Lower Antelope Canyon tour? Is it hot in there?

A: Great question! The canyon can be pretty warm, especially in the summer, so lightweight and breathable clothing is ideal. Sturdy shoes are a must since it's rocky and can get slippery. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat! The tour guides usually remind you to stay hydrated, so bring a water bottle if you can.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: You can definitely reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating! They usually keep an eye on the forecasts and will notify you if they need to cancel due to unsafe conditions. Just call them directly to find a new date that works. No worries!

Q: Is this good for kids? What age do you think should be the minimum?

A: Absolutely, kids will love it! The guides do a great job engaging with younger visitors. I’d say kids around 6 and up would enjoy it the most, but younger ones can come along if they're active and can handle some walking. Just be mindful of the terrain, though!

Just did the Lower Antelope Canyon tour - WOW!

I recently went on the Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour with Dixie's and it was unreal! The colors and formations are breathtaking. Our Navajo guide shared so much about the history and geology of the canyon. We took tons of photos. Definitely worth every penny! If you’re considering this as a gift, I say go for it! Just make sure you’re ready to walk, but it's not super strenuous. Perfect for anyone who loves nature.

Thinking of gifting the Antelope Canyon tour—any tips?

I’m considering getting my sister the Lower Antelope Canyon tour for her birthday. She loves hiking and photography! Has anyone done it recently? What should I know? Any tips for making the most out of the experience?
