Q&A

Q: What age is appropriate for kids to join this float trip? My son is 4.

A: This trip is perfect for kids as young as 4! They’ll love splashing around and enjoying the gentle waves. Just make sure they can follow safety instructions and wear a life jacket. The guides are super experienced and will make it fun for everyone, even little ones!

Q: How do we get there? Is there parking at the launch point?

A: Wilderness Aware Rafting provides round-trip transportation included in the package! So you won’t need to worry about parking at the launch point. Just meet at their location in Buena Vista, and they'll take care of the rest. Super convenient! You can also drive if you want to explore the area a bit more before or after.

Q: What should we wear for the float trip? Any tips?

A: Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes! The guides recommend bringing a light jacket too, just in case it gets cool. And don’t forget sunscreen - it can get pretty sunny out there. Water shoes are also a good idea to protect your feet while getting in and out of the raft!
