Q&A

Q: Can I take my kids on this food tour? What's the age limit?

A: Yes, kids are welcome on the tour! There isn't a strict age limit, but it’s really geared toward food lovers who can appreciate the different flavors. If your kids are adventurous eaters, they’ll enjoy the dumplings and pizza. Just be aware that some of the stops might include ingredients that some kids may not like, but they can always opt for the alternatives provided.

Q: What's the best time of year to take this food tour? How's the weather usually?

A: Spring and fall are the best times for this tour since the weather is usually mild. Summer can get hot and crowded, and winter might lead to cancellations if it snows heavily. You might want to check the forecast a few days before your tour to be safe. Just dress in layers for any chilly breezes in the neighborhoods!

Q: Is there parking nearby or should I use public transit?

A: Parking can be tough in the Lower East Side and surrounding areas. I’d recommend taking public transit, like the subway, which is super convenient. There are several stops nearby, including the F and J trains. If you must drive, check parking apps for available spots, and be ready to walk a bit!

Thinking of gifting the Lower East Side Food Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Lower East Side, Chinatown, and Little Italy food tour to my sister for her birthday. She loves trying new foods and has been wanting to explore NYC more. The cannoli from Ferrara’s and dumplings from Nom Wah sound amazing! Has anyone done this tour? Did you find it worth the price? Any tips for making it a great experience?

Just got back from the food tour, wow!

I just finished the Lower East Side, Chinatown, and Little Italy food tour and it blew my mind! The roast pork bun was out of this world, and the mini cannoli at Ferrara’s were the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend it for any food lovers out there! Anyone else tried this? What was your favorite stop?
