Q&A
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking for about 2.5 hours! As for clothing, check the weather beforehand. If it looks rainy, a lightweight rain jacket is a good idea. The tour runs rain or shine, so be prepared for anything. I went on a cloudy day, and layering worked perfectly!
A: Yes, the tour is great for kids! There isn’t a strict age limit, but I'd say kids ages 10 and up would likely enjoy it the most. The guides can make history fun and engaging for younger audiences, and the walk isn't too strenuous. Just keep an eye on them in the busier areas.
A: Yes, you can reschedule the tour if your recipient isn't able to go on the original date. Just make sure to contact the provider at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees. I had to reschedule my friend's tour due to a last-minute conflict, and it was super easy!

Just did the Lower Manhattan & 9/11 Memorial tour - WOW!
I went on the Lower Manhattan walking tour last weekend, and it was incredible! Our guide was so knowledgeable and had amazing stories about Wall Street and the Oculus. The visit to the 9/11 Memorial hit home for me. It was emotional but done so respectfully. If you're thinking about getting this as a gift, do it! Perfect for history buffs.
Considering the Lower Manhattan & 9/11 Tour as a gift for my dad!
My dad loves NYC history, and I think this walking tour would be a great gift for him. I’m curious about how the guides are. Are they really engaging? I want him to enjoy it and not just hear facts. Also, how's the group size? 12 seems decent, but would it feel crowded at times?
