Q&A

Q: Is there a dress code for the Luau Kalamaku dinner and show?

A: There's no strict dress code, but I'd recommend smart casual. Many people wear Hawaiian shirts or light dresses since it's a luau! Just keep in mind you're in Hawaii, so comfy sandals and breathable fabrics are great choices.

Q: What if it rains? Do they cancel the show?

A: They have a covered pavilion, so they can keep the show going even if it rains! They’ll let you know about any cancellations if the weather is really bad, but I went during a light rain and it was still amazing. Just check the forecast beforehand so you can dress appropriately.

Q: Is this experience suitable for kids? What ages would enjoy it?

A: Absolutely! Kids love the performances, especially the fire dancers! There were lots of families when I went, and they seemed to have a blast. I'd say it's perfect for ages 5 and up, but younger ones might enjoy the music and food too.

Just went to the Luau Kalamaku - Amazing experience!

I just got back from the Luau Kalamaku on Kauai and wow, what a night! The four-course dinner at Gaylords was incredible, especially the fish and fresh fruits from their orchard. The show was so well done, with awesome storytelling and fire dancing! I loved having the best seats in the house. It's a little pricey, but honestly worth every penny! Can’t wait to recommend it to friends!

Thinking about gifting the Luau Kalamaku to my parents!

My parents are coming to visit Kauai, and I’m thinking about getting them tickets for the Luau Kalamaku. They love trying new foods and cultural experiences. The 4-course dinner sounds so fancy but fun at the same time. Anyone know if they have special dietary options?
