Q&A
A: I'd say go for smart casual! You want to be comfy since you'll be in a van for a bit and walking around the wineries, but you might want to dress slightly nicer for lunch at Finca Altozano. Nice jeans and a nice top would be perfect. Also, don't forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!
A: Absolutely! The wineries are very accommodating, and the laid-back vibe makes it great for all ages. I went with my parents who are in their 70s, and they had a blast. Just make sure your group can handle the walking at the wineries. It’s not strenuous at all, but some of the paths might be uneven.
A: You can definitely request specific wineries when you book! They’re pretty flexible as long as your choices are available. We wanted to visit a specific vineyard, and they made it happen for us. Just put in your requests early.

Just got back from the wine tour in Guadalupe Valley – amazing experience!
I went on the Luxury Private Wine Tasting Tour last weekend with a group of friends, and we had such a great time! We visited three fantastic wineries and the lunch at Finca Altozano was to die for! The setting is beautiful. Just a heads up, try their octopus dish if you get the chance. The tour guide was super knowledgeable, and the whole thing felt very private. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate something special!
Considering this wine tasting tour for a birthday gift – thoughts?
I'm thinking of giving this wine tasting tour as a birthday gift for my dad who's a big wine enthusiast. He loves trying different wines, and I think he’d enjoy the whole experience. Has anyone done this tour recently? How was the wine selection? Also, are the drives between wineries long?
