Q&A
A: Great question! The tour is pretty family-friendly, but kids should be at least 12 years old to ride their own bike. Younger kids can join if they're in a trailer or a tandem bike with an adult. Just make sure they can keep up with the group and handle the pace, especially when biking on Martha's Vineyard!
A: You'll want to dress comfortably! A good pair of biking shorts and moisture-wicking shirts are best, especially for the longer days of riding. Don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses since you’ll be outside a lot. And bring a light jacket for the ferry ride, it can get a bit breezy out there!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Great Freedom Adventures will give you options to switch to another date. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when booking, as it varies a bit depending on how close to the tour date you are.

Thinking of gifting the MA Cape and The Island Tour! Anyone done it?
I’m considering this for my partner’s birthday! We both love biking and Cape Cod is on our bucket list. The tour looks like a great way to see both Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. I’m curious if the biking is manageable for casual riders? Also, any tips on what to pack for a week-long adventure?
MA Cape and The Island Tour - Worth it?
Just got back from the MA Cape and The Island Tour and wow! It was such a beautiful experience. The route took us through Cape towns I’ve only ever seen in pictures. I loved the bike rides, especially along the coast. The food was great too, and they provide everything you need. Anyone else feel like it was life-changing? 😂
