Q&A
A: The SUP class is great for all ages! Kids as young as 10 can join if they have adult supervision. Just make sure they can swim a bit, as they’ll be in the ocean. It's a fun way to bond with family and see turtles together!
A: Dress comfortably! A swimsuit or quick-dry shorts and a top are perfect. Don't forget sunscreen and water shoes if you have them. It can get pretty sunny out there, so a hat and polarized sunglasses are also a good idea!
A: Yes, the paddling class can be canceled if the weather is unsafe. They'll usually let you know the day before. If that happens, you can reschedule for a different day, usually with no extra fees. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just did stand up paddling at Ala Moana! What an experience!
I went on this paddle early in September and it was amazing! We saw so many Hawaiian sea turtles, like literally paddling right next to them. The guides were super friendly and helpful for first-timers like me. Honestly, I think this would make a perfect gift for my sister's birthday! Anyone else do the SUP yoga afterward? I'm thinking of pairing them together for a full morning of fun!
Considering the Magic Island paddle as a gift - worth it?
I'm thinking of gifting my boyfriend the stand up paddling experience for his birthday. He loves being outdoors and I think he’d love seeing turtles! But is it really beginner-friendly? I want him to enjoy it and not feel overwhelmed. Any tips or experiences to share would help!
