Q&A
A: Great question! There aren't strict age restrictions, but they recommend participants be at least 10 years old since the puzzles can get pretty complex. Younger kids might find it challenging, but if they’re with an adult, they could definitely join in the fun!
A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! You’ll be walking around Chattanooga for a couple of hours, and some puzzles might take you off the beaten path. I wore sneakers and a light jacket since it can get breezy. Just check the weather before you go.
A: The AR is super user-friendly! You’ll get an iPad that guides you through the puzzles, and it’s pretty intuitive. Just point it at the landmarks or clues, and the challenges pop up. It really adds a cool layer to the whole experience!

Thinking of gifting the Magic Portal escape room experience—any thoughts?
I found the Magic Portal outdoor escape room while looking for fun gift ideas in Chattanooga. It looks like a blast! My best friend loves puzzles and adventures, and this seems perfect. Has anyone done it? How long does it usually take, and is it fun for adults? I want to make sure it's not too kiddy for her!
Just did the Magic Portal escape room—what an adventure!
Wow, I just came back from doing the Magic Portal escape room in downtown Chattanooga, and it was incredible! The mix of real landmarks and AR was so creative. It took us about 3 hours, and we had a group of 5. Got a bit tricky at some points, but we figured it out together. Totally recommend it for anyone who loves a challenge!
