Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. A: You can definitely go at your own pace! The scavenger hunt doesn't have a strict time limit, so you can take breaks and enjoy the sights of Mackinac Island. Just keep in mind that the leaderboard is based on points, so racing against others can add some fun pressure if you want to compete!

Q: Is there an age limit for participants in the scavenger hunt?

A: There's no strict age limit! It's great for families and kids of all ages. Younger kids might need an adult's help with some of the clues. Just make sure they have a way to use a phone since the hunt is guided through your device.

Q: What kind of clothes should I wear for the scavenger hunt? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy clothes and shoes! The scavenger hunt involves quite a bit of walking around Mackinac Island, especially if you want to explore off the beaten path. Layering is a good idea, too, because the weather can change quickly!

We just wrapped up the Magical Mackinac Island Scavenger Hunt today and wow, what a blast! The clues were so creative, and we got to see parts of the island that we would’ve missed otherwise. It’s a great mix of fun and learning! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore while being competitive.
