Q&A
A: There isn't a specific weight limit for the Maid of the Mist, but they do have safety measures in place. Just be sure to wear the provided poncho, as you’ll likely get wet! It's a fun experience, but I’d recommend checking with the staff on-site if you have concerns.
A: Honestly, the summer months are super popular since all the attractions are open and the weather is nice. However, if you want fewer crowds, consider going in early fall when the leaves change. Just keep an eye on the weather — it can get chilly when you’re on the boat!
A: Parking is pretty convenient! There are several parking lots close to the entrance of Niagara Falls State Park, and it’s only a short walk to the trolley start point. I’d say around 5-10 minutes depending on where you park. Just be prepared for some walking if the lots are full!

Considering the Maid of the Mist & Cave of the Winds tour as a gift!
I’m thinking of getting my parents tickets for the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds tour. They love nature and have never been to Niagara Falls! The trolley tour sounds perfect since they can’t walk too much. Just wondering if it's worth the price and if they’ll enjoy it?
Who’s done the Cave of the Winds experience? How was it?
Just got back from Niagara Falls and did the Cave of the Winds tour as part of the package! It was so surreal standing right next to the falls. I’ve got to say, the ponchos are a must. Can’t believe how wet we got! Anyone else had a similar experience? How did you stay dry?
