Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Maid of the Mist tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it's designed for kids 6 and up since they’ll really get the history part. Younger kids might enjoy the boat ride, but the tour might be a bit much for them. If you do take younger kids, just be prepared to keep them engaged!

Q: What should we wear for the Maid of the Mist tour? Is it wet?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable! The boat ride can get a bit wet, so I’d suggest bringing a waterproof jacket or poncho. Also, wear good walking shoes since there’s some walking involved before getting on the boat.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather’s bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule due to weather conditions! Just reach out to Motherland Connextions at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible if there’s heavy rain or strong winds.

Amazing Experience on the Maid of the Mist Tour!

Just finished the Maid of the Mist Walking History Tour, and wow! Our guide was super knowledgeable and entertaining. It was cool to see historical photos on the tablet while standing right where they were taken. The boat ride was a highlight—getting that close to the falls is breathtaking! Totally worth every penny. Highly recommend it as a gift for family or friends who love history!

Considering the Maid of the Mist as a gift—any thoughts?

I’m thinking of getting this experience for my parents' anniversary. They love exploring new places, but I’m a little worried about the walking part. Is it manageable for older folks? Anyone have experience with this?
