Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Kukui Nut Bracelet making workshop?

A: There aren't any strict age limits for the workshop, but it's generally best suited for kids over 8 since it involves some small parts. Kids younger than that should be accompanied by an adult. The guide is really great at helping everyone regardless of age though!

Q: What should we wear for the Kukui Nut Bracelet making session?

A: Casual, comfy clothes are the way to go! You might get a little glue or nut dust on you. Closed-toed shoes are also a good idea since you’ll be working with small materials. Just be ready to get creative!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the workshop? Will it be canceled?

A: The workshop can usually continue indoors at the facility, so weather shouldn't be an issue. However, if things get really bad, they might reschedule you. It's best to check in with them a day before just to confirm.

Thinking of gifting the Kukui Nut Bracelet workshop!

Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the Kukui Nut Bracelet making experience to my sister who's been wanting to try something creative while we're in Maui. It seems like a fun way to learn about local culture and make a cool bracelet! Has anyone done this? What was your experience like? Is it really as casual and friendly as it sounds?

Just got back from the Kukui Nut Bracelet workshop!

OMG, you guys! I just finished the Kukui Nut Bracelet workshop, and it was SO much fun! The setting in the Migrations Galleries was beautiful, and I loved making something unique to take home. Plus, chatting with the locals was a bonus. Anyone else been? I can't stop talking about it!
