The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for the hike, and can I bring my toddler?

A: The hike is open to all ages, but since the terrain can be tricky, strollers and wagons aren't allowed. If your toddler is used to walking, they might be fine on the easy to moderate trail, but just keep an eye on them! It's about 2.5 miles with some elevation, so be prepared for that.

Q: What should I wear for the vineyard hike? Is it muddy or rocky?

A: Wear comfortable shoes since the path can be rocky in some areas. I’d recommend sneakers or hiking boots. If you’re going in winter or after rain, it can get muddy, so consider water-resistant footwear. Layers are a must too since it can get chilly during the hike!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Do they cancel the hike?

A: If the weather looks really bad, they usually cancel or reschedule. You’ll get notified ahead of time, so just make sure to check your email. It’s best to contact them directly if you’re unsure. The views are amazing, so you want a clear day if possible!

Just did the Malibu vineyard hike – amazing experience!

I went on the vineyard hike last weekend and it was SO beautiful! The views of the ocean and the vineyards were stunning. The hike was around 2.5 miles, which was totally doable, and the guide shared some cool history about the Chumash cave paintings. Plus, you get wine to take home! I’d totally recommend this for a fun day out, especially if you’re into nature and wine.

Looking to gift the vineyard hike experience!

I’m thinking about gifting this vineyard hike to my parents for their anniversary. They love wine and the outdoors. Has anyone done this hike recently? What was your experience like? Any tips for making it extra special?
