Q&A
A: You definitely want to wear something comfortable for the water, and yes, a wetsuit is required if you plan on swimming with the manatees. The water can be pretty cool even in summer. You can rent one for $15, but if you have your own, bring it along! Also, don’t forget a swimsuit underneath and maybe a rash guard for sun protection.
A: There’s no strict weight limit mentioned for the snorkeling or airboat ride, but they do have safety protocols to ensure everyone's comfort. If you're concerned, you can call Gray Line directly. Generally, as long as you can comfortably fit in the gear and follow directions, you should be fine!
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather’s not great! Just make sure to call them at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty accommodating, especially if safety is a concern. Just check their policy when you book, and keep an eye on the weather as your date approaches!

Just got back from the manatee snorkeling tour! Amazing experience!
I can’t recommend the Manatee Snorkeling Adventure enough! We went last week and it was a blast. The tour departs early, so bring a breakfast snack for the ride. The moment we hit the water in Crystal River, manatees were everywhere! Just make sure to rent the wetsuit if you're planning on swimming. The Homosassa State Park was beautiful too, so much to see! A perfect day trip for anyone who loves nature.
Thinking of gifting the manatee snorkeling tour for my sister's birthday!
I’m considering this as a gift for my sister who loves animals and outdoor adventures. Just wondering if anyone has done this recently? What was your experience like with the picnic lunch? Worth it? Should I opt for the airboat ride too?
