Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids under 16 are required to wear helmets. Plus, parents should be comfortable with them biking through the city’s traffic. I saw families with kids around 10-12 and they seemed to love it! Just make sure to get a bike size that fits them well.
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes and shoes—think athletic wear! It can get hot while you're pedaling around. Also, bring a light jacket if you plan to be out in the evening since it can cool down. Sunglasses and sunscreen are a must too!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule! Just make sure to call the provider ahead of time. They’re pretty flexible, especially if it’s raining or really windy. Just try to do it as soon as you know you can't make it to avoid any hassle.

Thinking about gifting the bike rental experience! Any advice?
I'm thinking of giving my boyfriend a Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge bike rental for his birthday. He's really into biking and loves NYC. I’ve heard you can see some amazing views of the skyline from the Brooklyn Bridge! What's the biking like on the bridge? I’m hoping it won’t be too crowded on a Saturday. Also, how long should we plan to bike for? Any tips would help!
Just did this bike rental, and it was AMAZING!
I rented bikes for a full day and pedaled through Little Italy, Chinatown, and ended up on the Brooklyn Bridge. The views were unreal! I loved stopping at different places to eat. Highly recommend grabbing a slice at Joe's Pizza in Greenwich Village. It’s a perfect way to explore the city. Heads up though, battery life for your phone is key for navigation!
