Q&A
A: Yes, children are welcome on the Manitou sail, but they should be at least 5 years old to participate actively. It’s a great family experience! Just make sure they can handle a little rocking on the water. There are life jackets available for all sizes.
A: You can cancel up to 24 hours before your cruise for a full refund, which is super helpful with unpredictable weather. If they cancel due to bad weather, they’ll work with you to reschedule or issue a refund, so no worries there!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly once the sun goes down. I'd suggest a light jacket, especially if you're prone to getting cold. Also, non-slip shoes are a must. And don’t forget sunglasses if it's sunny—you'll want to enjoy the views!

Just got back from the Manitou evening sail—so worth it!
I can't believe how much fun we had on the Manitou! The sail was around Grand Traverse Bay, and it felt magical when the engine was turned off. The crew taught us how to set the sails and even let us take turns steering! The views at sunset were breathtaking. Totally a great gift experience, I highly recommend it!
Thinking about gifting the Manitou evening sail—any thoughts?
I’m considering getting the Manitou sail experience for my parents' anniversary. They've always loved sailing and have never done anything like this! Just curious if anyone has done it recently? What was the vibe like? Think they'd enjoy it?
