Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the snorkeling experience?

A: There isn't an official age limit, but kids need to be proficient swimmers. It's a good idea to check with Solé Watersports if your child can swim confidently. They often suggest that kids around 8-10 and older would have the most fun, but as long as they can handle themselves in the water, they should be good to go!

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling and sandbar experience?

A: I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit and bringing a cover-up for after. Water shoes are also a great idea since the sand can get a bit rough at the sandbar. Don't forget sunscreen, preferably reef-safe, and maybe a hat if you're sensitive to the sun!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the experience?

A: Solé Watersports is very good about rescheduling if weather conditions aren't safe for snorkeling. If they cancel due to bad weather, they’ll usually reach out to you as soon as possible to offer alternatives or a full refund. Just keep an eye on the weather leading up to your day!

Just did the COMBO: Snorkel & Sandbar experience in Marathon!

I just got back from the Snorkel & Sandbar trip with Solé Watersports, and WOW! The snorkeling at Coffin's Patch was incredible, saw a ton of fish and even some cool coral. The sandbar was so relaxing—just chilling on the floating mat was perfection. Plus, the staff was super friendly. Worth every penny! If you're thinking of gifting this experience, DO IT!

Thinking of gifting the Snorkel & Sandbar trip!

I’m considering this for my partner’s upcoming birthday. They love the ocean and snorkeling! Just curious, how deep is it really? I’m a little worried about the currents since we’re not super strong swimmers. Any tips?
