Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the dolphin tour? Is it okay if we get wet?

A: You definitely want to wear something comfortable and that you don't mind getting wet! A swimsuit under your clothes is a good move because you might splash a bit while out on the water. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen, especially since you'll be out in the sun for a couple of hours. Flip flops or water shoes work great too!

Q: Are there age limits for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the dolphin tour, but it’s great for kids of all ages! Just keep in mind that younger kids might need some help with shelling on the barrier island. It’s a fun way for them to learn about wildlife and they usually love seeing the dolphins swim by!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather turns bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating! The provider is pretty flexible about it. Just give them a call as soon as you know you can't make it. They want everyone to have a good experience, so they’re usually happy to work with you.

Just booked the dolphin tour - any tips?

I just got the Marco Island dolphin tour for my partner's birthday! I'm so excited but a bit nervous about how to prepare. What should I bring? I've heard the shelling is super fun, but I don’t wanna miss the dolphins! Any advice would be appreciated!

Who else has done the birding and dolphin tour?

I did this tour last month and it was AMAZING! We saw dolphins up close, and the island for shelling was such a hidden gem. The guide was awesome, very knowledgeable. I’m thinking of gifting this experience to my parents for their anniversary. Thoughts?
