Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to take the Marco Island Dolphin & Eco Tour?

A: The best time for the tour is typically between March and October. That's when dolphin sightings peak, and the weather is usually perfect for a cruise. Just keep in mind that summer can get a bit hot, so morning or late afternoon trips are a good call. Be ready for some sun!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for kids on this tour?

A: No specific age restrictions, but it’s really best suited for kids 5 and up. The boat is stable and safe, so little ones can enjoy. Just ensure they’re comfortable around water and wildlife. Also, keep an eye on them during the beach stop!

Q: What should we wear for the dolphin tour? Is it mostly wet?

A: Light, breathable clothes are your best bet since it can get pretty warm. A swimsuit underneath is a good idea, especially if you plan to jump in the water at the beach stop. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses! The boat might get a bit splashy, so wearing something easy to dry is wise.

Just got back from the Dolphin & Eco Tour - it was amazing!

We did the Marco Island Dolphin & Eco Tour last weekend and wow, it was such a great time! Our captain was super knowledgeable and we spotted dolphins really quickly. The beach stop was a highlight—found some really unique shells! Only downside was that it got a bit choppy, so if you're sensitive to motion, maybe take some meds beforehand. Overall, totally recommend it!

Thinking about gifting the dolphin tour, is it worth it?

I’m considering this as a gift for my parents who love nature. I’ve heard good things about the tour but would love to hear real experiences! Are the dolphins always visible? What else happens on the tour? Any tips for first-timers?
