On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time. Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to go on the Marco Island Wildlife Sightseeing and Shelling Tour?

A: The best time for the Marco Island Wildlife Sightseeing and Shelling Tour is usually between late fall and early spring (November to April). The weather is milder, and you'll have a great chance to see wildlife. Summertime can be really hot and humid, so be prepared if you go then!

Q: Is it okay for toddlers to join this tour, and do they need their own ticket?

A: Yes, toddlers can absolutely join the tour! They’ll have fun shelling and seeing the wildlife. Just remember that everyone, even the littlest ones, need their own ticket. It’s important to book in advance, especially during busy seasons.

Q: What do we need to wear or bring for this shelling tour?

A: I recommend wearing comfortable clothes and flip-flops or sandals since you'll be on a boat and a beach. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle if you're thinking of purchasing extra drinks. The tour provides bottled water, but it’s good to be prepared.

Just booked the Marco Island Wildlife Sightseeing and Shelling Tour for my family!

I'm so excited! We’re going in two weeks and I can’t wait to see the Ten Thousand Islands. I've heard so much about the shelling on the private beach. We have a 5-year-old and a toddler, so I’m hoping they’ll enjoy this too. Any tips on what to look for while shelling?

Thinking about the Marco Island Wildlife Tour as a gift for my parents!

My mom loves nature and my dad loves the beach. They’ve been wanting to try shelling, so this seems perfect! What’s the age limit, and does it get super crowded?
