Q&A

Q: Can anyone tell me if this dinner cruise is good for kids? What age is it suitable for?

A: Yes, this Christmas Eve Dinner Cruise is family-friendly! Kids of all ages are welcome, and they usually have a great time with the festive atmosphere. Just make sure to keep an eye on little ones near the water. The buffet has plenty of options for picky eaters too, so no worries there!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule the cruise?

A: If the weather isn't safe for sailing, the cruise will be canceled and you can reschedule for another date. City Cruises is pretty good about keeping everyone informed, so you'll get updates if the weather looks questionable. Just keep an eye on your email leading up to the date!

Q: Is there a dress code for the dinner cruise? What should we wear?

A: There’s no strict dress code, but it’s a festive occasion, so smart casual or cocktail attire is recommended. Think nice dresses for women or slacks and a nice shirt for men. It can get a bit chilly on the water, so maybe bring a light jacket, just in case!

Thinking about the Christmas Eve Dinner Cruise! Thoughts?

I’m considering this Marina del Rey Christmas Eve Dinner Cruise for my family. We’ve never done a dinner cruise before, and I’m excited about the buffet and live DJ! I’m a bit nervous about parking though. Any tips for getting there from Santa Monica? And how’s the food usually?

Just got back from the Christmas Eve cruise and wow!

We went on the Marina del Rey Christmas Eve buffet cruise last night and it was amazing! The decorations were so festive, and the food was delicious—especially the prime rib. The live DJ had everyone dancing! Totally recommend it for a holiday gift or just a fun night out with family. Can’t wait to go again next year!
