Escape the big city for a day on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, an affluent summer culture located south of Cape Cod in the Atlantic. The charming harbor towns of Martha's Vineyard are surrounded by sandy beaches, lighthouses, and a plethora of darling shops and restaurants. Nearby Nantucket offers a more upscale, tranquil experience with high-end shopping boutiques and quiet lunch spots on Main Street. This experience begins with a private helicopter charter from Manhattan directly to Martha's Vineyard with 3 hours to spend on the island before flying over to Nantucket. Upon arrival at Nantucket you will have another 3 hours to explore, do sightseeing, shopping and have lunch while your helicopter waits. After 3 hours you will return to the airport and will fly back to Manhattan, concluding the day with a quick skyline tour of New York City before landing. Meals, activity costs and ground transportation costs on either island are not included in the price of this experience.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this helicopter trip? Can kids join?

A: There aren't any strict age limits for this helicopter tour, but it's recommended that kids should be at least 4 years old. However, it's always a good idea to check with Wings Air directly for any specific safety regulations regarding younger passengers. Overall, it can be a really cool experience for families!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad on the day of the trip?

A: Yes, you can absolutely reschedule for another date if weather conditions aren't ideal. Just keep in touch with Wings Air, and they're usually pretty accommodating. It’s best to check 24 hours prior to your flight so you can plan accordingly!

Q: How much cash should we bring for lunch and shopping on the islands?

A: It really depends on what you want to do! For a decent lunch and a couple of shops, I’d say bringing around $200-300 per person should cover it. Both Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket have high-end options, but you can also find quaint spots that are more budget-friendly. Just be ready to explore!

Thinking about gifting the helicopter trip to my partner!

I’m thinking about getting the Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket day trip for my partner’s birthday. They love adventures, and who wouldn’t want to fly in a helicopter? The opportunity to explore both islands sounds amazing! Just worried about the price of lunch and if it’s worth it...

Just did this trip; here's my experience!

I went on the Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket helicopter trip last month, and wow, it was worth every penny! Flying from Manhattan was smooth, and seeing the skyline from above was a perfect start. We spent 3 hours in each place, which felt just right. Nantucket was so peaceful, and the shopping was awesome! Just remember to bring enough cash for meals.
