Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this tour?

A: There’s no specific age limit for kids, but I’d say it’s best suited for children 8 and older. They might appreciate the history more. Plus, younger kids might get restless during the 60-minute guided tour. You can definitely take younger kids, just be prepared to entertain them a bit!

Q: Can you reschedule the tour if needed?

A: Yes! If you need to reschedule, you just need to call their office at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible with dates, which is great if something comes up last minute. Just make sure to check availability for the new date you want!

Q: What’s the best time of year to visit the Mary Todd Lincoln House?

A: Spring and fall are the best! The weather in Lexington is super nice then, and you’ll get to see the beautiful gardens around the house. Summer can be hot, and winter is pretty chilly, so if you can plan for spring or fall, you’ll have a great time. Plus, it's less crowded!
