Q&A
A: Kids are welcome, but they should be at least 5 years old to snorkel. The crew is super accommodating and has flotation devices for younger children. Just check the weather and ocean conditions with them before you go to make sure it's safe for your little ones!
A: If the weather's not great, the crew will often reschedule you or offer a full refund. They prioritize safety, so if conditions are rough, you won’t be heading out. Just keep an eye on the forecast and reach out to them a day prior for updates!
A: Nope! They provide top-of-the-line snorkel gear for you. Just bring your swimsuit and sunscreen. They even have flotation devices for those who want some extra support in the water. You’ll have everything you need for a great time!

Just did the snorkeling at Molokini Crater - a must-do in Maui!
I surprised my partner with the Maui Afternoon Snorkel trip, and wow, what an experience! We swam at Molokini Crater, and the visibility was insane—seriously like 150 feet! The crew was awesome and super helpful, plus they provided a delicious lunch. Definitely bring a waterproof camera if you have one; the fish are so colorful and it’s a sight you want to remember!
Considering this as a gift - any thoughts?
I'm thinking about getting the Maui Afternoon Snorkel experience for my sister's birthday. She's not a great swimmer, but loves the ocean. Is Coral Gardens a good spot for beginners? Any tips for her first time?
