Meet your guide at Turtle Town, Makena, and get ready for your adventure. Paddle over the healthy shallow reefs and snorkel at the best spots to see marine life. Swim with turtles, manta rays, eels, octopus, and various tropical fish. Our tours take place in a humpback whale sanctuary so we see whales in the winter time. Enjoy the beautiful views of Haleakala volcano, west Maui mountains, molokini, and the surrounding islands. Paddle over 500-year-old lava fingers and visit Turtle Town. If you choose, there is an optional snorkel portion of the tour (included in the price). Get out of the kayaks to have a closer look at some incredible marine life.

Q: What should I wear for the Clear Kayak and Snorkel Tour? Is it all wet?

A: You’ll definitely get wet! Wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard to protect from the sun. Water shoes are a good idea since you’ll be getting in and out of the kayak. Also, don’t forget sunscreen that's reef-safe!

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A: Yes, they are very flexible with rescheduling due to bad weather. Just make sure to contact them as soon as possible if the forecast looks rough. They’ll help you find another day that works!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? Thinking of getting it for my 10-year-old.

A: Kids are definitely welcome, and the experience is suitable for ages 5 and up. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water. Also, you'll be in double kayaks, which is great for safety and bonding!

Just went on the Clear Kayak Tour and it was AMAZING!

I just came back from the Clear Kayak and Snorkel Tour in Makena, and wow, it blew my mind! We saw so many turtles swimming right next to us. The guides were super friendly and really knew their stuff about the reefs and marine life. The views of Haleakala were stunning, too. I definitely recommend getting the photo package; we got some great shots!
