Q&A
A: Yes, the tour requires participants to be at least 5 years old. This ensures that everyone can enjoy the experience safely and comfortably. Just a heads up, though: if you’re thinking of bringing younger kids, they should be able to handle the conditions on a raft.
A: If the weather conditions aren't safe for the tour, the company will likely reschedule your trip. They monitor the weather closely. It's good to check their policy on rescheduling when you book, just in case. They’re usually great about keeping you informed.
A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly out on the water, especially in the early morning. A light jacket and some comfy shoes are perfect. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat since you'll be out in the sun for a few hours. You might also want a waterproof bag for your things!

Just came back from the whale-watching tour in Kihei!
OMG, the whale-watching tour with Redline Rafting was AMAZING! We saw so many humpbacks breaching and even got to hear them through the hydrophone! The raft was super fast and felt safe, and there were only 15 of us on board, so we really got a good view. The naturalist was great too, shared a lot of cool facts. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Maui!
Thinking of gifting the whale-watching tour, any advice?
I want to gift this whale-watching experience to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and I know they would enjoy a day on the water. Has anyone done this tour recently? How was the experience? Any tips on the best time to go?
