Q&A
A: Absolutely! This tour is great for families, and there are no age limits. It’s flexible, so you can stop at places that are kid-friendly, like waterfalls for swimming or short hikes. Just keep an eye on how much time you spend at stops since younger kids can get restless in the car.
A: Since this is an audio tour you can do whenever, there's no need to reschedule! You can always wait for better weather, since the tours never expire. Just check the forecast and plan your day accordingly. Plus, some spots are even better in light rain!
A: You can definitely start the tour later! The beauty of this audio guide is the flexibility. Depending on how many stops you make, it can take anywhere from 5 to 8 hours. Just plan your stops and make sure to start early enough to enjoy the scenic spots without rushing!

Just did the Reverse Road to Hana tour and it was epic!
Hey everyone! I just finished the Maui 'Reverse' Road to Hana tour with the Shaka Guide app and I can’t recommend it enough! We hit the popular spots first, which was so nice since we avoided the crowds. The audio stories were super interesting and the GPS directions were spot on. We ended up stopping at a couple of waterfalls and took some amazing photos. Definitely bring your swimsuit! I think this is a perfect gift for anyone visiting Maui.
Thinking about gifting the Reverse Road to Hana experience. Thoughts?
I want to get this audio driving tour as a gift for my sister’s family. They’re going to Maui next month. I love that it’s flexible and they can explore at their own pace. Has anyone experienced it? What do you think? Would kids enjoy it?
