A: There's no strict age limit, but it's best suited for kids 8 and older since the drive can be long and the sunset viewing might be late for younger ones. Just keep in mind that some of the hikes at Haleakala can be a bit challenging for little feet. If you think your kids can handle the adventure, they'll love it!

A: Dress in layers! The temperature can drop a lot at Haleakala, especially during the sunset. I'd recommend a light jacket or sweater for the summit. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be doing some walking. And don't forget your sunscreen for the day!

Just did the Maui Upcountry Drive tour! Amazing views!

I took the Maui Upcountry Drive tour last week, and wow! The drive through those six climate zones was breathtaking. Seeing the volcanic terrain at Haleakala and then the sunset was like something out of a movie.
