Q&A
A: Yes, the museum is generally recommended for ages 12 and up due to the graphic nature of the exhibits. If you're planning to take younger kids, just keep in mind that some of the displays can be pretty intense. It's a unique experience, but definitely not for the faint of heart!
A: Yes, you can reschedule your visit! Just contact their customer service at least 48 hours in advance to make changes. They’re pretty flexible, which is great if you’re worried about last-minute plans. Just make sure to check the new date availability as it can get busy!
A: Wear something comfortable since you'll be walking around for a while. The museum has a lot of standing and exploring, and you might get a little creeped out (in a fun way!). Just dress casually, and maybe leave the heels at home for this one!

Just visited the Medieval Torture Museum - What an experience!
I went to the Medieval Torture Museum in Chicago last weekend, and wow, it was intense! The audio guide really added to the experience; I learned so much about the different torture devices. The wax figures were super detailed and kind of creepy, but in a fascinating way! I even did the ghost hunting app, which was a fun twist. Definitely not for everyone, but if you love history and a little spookiness, I highly recommend it!
Thinking of gifting the Medieval Torture Museum experience - worth it?
I’m considering getting tickets for my boyfriend's birthday, and he’s really into creepy historical stuff. The idea of the ghost hunting sounds like a fun bonus too! Has anyone gifted this before? How did it go?
