Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Medieval Torture Museum, and is it appropriate for kids?

A: The Medieval Torture Museum does have a recommended age limit of 12 years and older due to the graphic content and themes covered in the exhibits. It's definitely not a kid-friendly experience, so if you're thinking of bringing younger kids, maybe reconsider or check out other family-oriented activities in St. Augustine.

Q: What should I wear for the ghost hunting part of this experience? Is it outdoors?

A: The ghost hunting part can be a bit outdoorsy, especially if you're doing it in the evening, so I’d recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. If it's a warmer night, shorts and a t-shirt should be fine, but if it's cooler, layers are a good idea. Don't forget a flashlight if you have one!

Q: What’s the parking situation like around the Medieval Torture Museum?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky around that area, especially during weekends. There are some public lots nearby, but they can fill up fast. I’d suggest getting there early or using street parking if you can find it. Just be sure to check the signs for any restrictions!

Just got back from the Medieval Torture Museum and it was wild!

I went to the Medieval Torture Museum in St. Augustine last weekend and wow, what an experience! The audio guide really adds to the whole thing, and trust me, some of the torture devices are just insane. The ghost hunting bit was a cool bonus, especially with the creepy stories they tell. I’d say it’s best for history buffs or those who love a spooky thrill. Anyone else been here?

Thinking of gifting this experience, but is it worth it?

I’m considering the Medieval Torture Museum experience as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves history and spooky stuff, but I’m worried it might not be ‘fun’ enough. Would it be cool for a date? What do you think? Any tips would be appreciated!
