Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Meet the Market tour?

A: There aren't any strict age restrictions for the tour. It's great for all ages, but keep in mind that younger kids might not enjoy all the food stops as much as adults do. If you're bringing little ones, just be prepared to help them with the tastings. Also, strollers can be a bit tricky in the Market since it gets crowded, so plan accordingly!

Q: What's the best time of year to do the Pike Place tour?

A: Fall is fantastic! The weather is usually mild, and you get to enjoy seasonal flavors from the vendors. Plus, the crowds aren’t as bad as in the summer. Spring is also a good option, especially if you want to see the flowers in bloom. Just make sure to check for any festival days that might complicate things.

Q: Is parking hard to find around Pike Place Market?

A: It can be a bit of a challenge. There are some nearby parking garages, but they fill up quickly, especially on weekends. I recommend using public transport if you can or look for street parking—a bit of a walk might be worth it! Just make sure to check the signs for any restrictions.

Thinking of gifting the Meet the Market tour! Anyone done it?

I’m considering giving the Meet the Market tour as a birthday gift for my foodie friend! It sounds so awesome with all those food stops and the insider info. Is Sonic John really as cool as he sounds? What were your favorite tastings? Any tips?

Just did the Meet the Market tour, and WOW!

I finally went on the Meet the Market tour last weekend, and it exceeded my expectations! Sonic John was so knowledgeable and fun. We visited 10 vendors, and every single one had something delicious. I can’t stop thinking about those fresh seafood samples! If you’re on the fence, just do it!
