Q&A
A: The Memphis Orientation Walk is primarily designed for adults and is great for couples or first-time visitors. Kids can join, but it might be more enjoyable for older children who can appreciate the cultural insights. Just be mindful that it’s a walking tour, so there will be some distance involved! If you have younger kids, consider whether they might tire easily during the walk.
A: Definitely keep it casual for the walk! Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking for a while. Dress for the weather too; if it’s hot, light clothes are best. And don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny! Overall, just aim for comfort and you’ll be good.
A: Yes, Bluff City Concierge is pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just give them a call or email ahead of time, and they’ll help you find another time that works. It’s good to check their policies in case of last-minute changes, but they’re generally understanding!

Thinking of gifting the Memphis Orientation Walk, thoughts?
I just came across the Memphis Orientation Walk starting at the Peabody, and it sounds like a great gift for my sister and her partner who are visiting soon. It’s free too, which is awesome! I love that it focuses on helping them get a feel for downtown instead of just rushing through tourist spots. Has anyone done this? What did you think?
Anyone else love the Memphis Orientation Walk?
I took the Memphis Orientation Walk on a whim when I was visiting, and wow, I’m so glad I did! The guide was amazing and gave us so many tips about what to see in Memphis and the best times to visit places. The ending at South Main was perfect for grabbing lunch after. Highly recommend it for anyone new to the city!
