Q&A
A: Definitely layer up! It can get chilly on the boat, especially when you're out on the water. I'd recommend wearing a waterproof jacket and maybe some thermal layers underneath. Don't forget a hat and gloves, too! Also, wear shoes with good grip since the deck can get slippery.
A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit, but kids as young as 5 can join the tour, which is perfect for families. Just keep in mind that they need to be able to sit still for the duration of the trip and follow safety instructions. The guides are great with kids, so it should be a fun experience for everyone!
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule! They monitor the weather closely, and if conditions aren't safe for the tour, they’ll allow you to pick another date. Just be sure to call them in advance to confirm. They’re really good about accommodating changes!

Thinking about gifting the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching Tour!
I’m considering buying the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching Tour for my parents who are visiting Juneau next month. They love nature and whales! Anyone done this tour? What was it like? What should I know before booking? Price seems reasonable, but any tips would be appreciated!
Just booked the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching Tour!
I’m so excited! I just booked the tour for next week. I've heard amazing things about it and can't wait to see the whales up close. I've read that they provide snacks and drinks, which is awesome. Has anyone done this recently? Any must-know tips?
