Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to go on this Middleton Place tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but they recommend that kids be at least 6 years old so they can appreciate the history and enjoy the lunch. It’s definitely a family-friendly experience, and the gardens are super fun for kids to explore!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up? How flexible is the tour?

A: Yes! Chicora Tours is pretty flexible with rescheduling, but it's best to give them at least 48 hours’ notice. They’ll work with you to find another date that works!

Q: What should I wear for the Middleton Place tour? Is it all outdoors?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking a lot through the gardens! Dress in layers too, as the weather can change. It’s mostly outdoors, but you'll have some time inside Eliza’s House once it opens back up in April.

I took the Middleton Place tour last weekend and it totally exceeded my expectations. The gardens are breathtaking, and lunch at the restaurant was such a treat—highly recommend the shrimp and grits! The guide was super knowledgeable and made the history come alive. I think it's a perfect gift for anyone who loves history or the outdoors.

Considering the Middleton Place tour as a gift—thoughts?

I’m thinking of getting this Middleton Place tour for my parents' anniversary. They love history and good food! Just wondering if anyone has done it recently? What was your favorite part? Also, how was the transportation? I hope it’s not too cramped.
