Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this photo safari? I'm thinking about getting this for my 14-year-old.

A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but it’s generally more suited for teens and adults. Kids who are 12 and up usually enjoy it, especially if they're interested in photography. Just make sure they have a camera or smartphone ready to go!

Q: How does the transportation work? Is the subway included for both ways?

A: The experience includes one-way subway fare, so you'll need to arrange your return trip. It's pretty easy to navigate the subway in NYC, but if you're unsure, just ask the instructor for tips on getting back after the workshop!

Q: What if it rains? Do they cancel or reschedule?

A: They do have a rain or shine policy! If it's pouring, they might adjust the itinerary or provide some indoor options, but it's mostly about shooting outside. If you can't make it, they will work with you to reschedule for another time.

Thinking of gifting the Midtown NYC Photo Safari!

Hey folks! I’m considering getting the Midtown NYC Photo Safari for my sister's birthday. She's really into photography but doesn't have much formal training. I love that it’s hands-on and the city will be such a great backdrop. Has anyone done it? What's your experience like? Totally excited about this!

Just finished the Midtown NYC Photo Safari!

Wow, what an amazing experience! I went last week, and it was honestly one of the best ways to explore NYC. The pro photographer was so helpful and patient. I went with my DSLR, but I saw people using their phones too, and they got some great shots! Just make sure to wear comfy shoes—you'll be walking quite a bit!
