Brew City Kayaks offers kayak rentals for people who want to explore the Milwaukee River at their own pace. Rent a Tandem Kayak for up to 4 hours for only $85! Along your paddle you will discover the beautiful City Skyline and have the opportunity to stop and get out of your kayak. Many kayakers enjoy stopping at one of the many local breweries or restaurants along the river. Our kayaks are sit-on-top style which are safer, easier to get in and out of, and perfect for holding a cooler. Life vests and instruction are provided.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to kayak with adults?

A: There isn't a specific age limit, but kids must be able to wear a life jacket and be supervised by an adult in the same kayak. I took my 10-year-old last month, and we had a blast! Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and can follow basic instructions.

Q: What if the weather doesn't cooperate? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, Brew City Kayaks allows you to reschedule if the weather is bad. Just make sure to contact them at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible with that, which is nice!

Q: What should we wear for kayaking on the Milwaukee River?

A: Wear something comfortable and quick-drying! I’d recommend a swimsuit or athletic shorts, and definitely water shoes or sandals that can get wet. Don’t forget sunscreen! It can get super sunny out on the river.

So I just got back from kayaking with Brew City Kayaks and wow, what a fantastic experience! The views of the Milwaukee skyline were stunning. We brought a cooler with snacks and stopped at a brewery halfway through our paddle. It was such a chill day—highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun outing!
