Q&A
A: There's no specific age limit for the tour! It's suitable for all ages, but keep in mind that younger kids may get tired from walking. It's definitely a family-friendly outing, but if you think your child might need breaks, maybe plan for that. Also, check with the provider if you have specific concerns.
A: The tour generally goes on rain or shine since San Francisco weather can be unpredictable! They recommend dressing in layers and bringing an umbrella just in case. If the weather is really bad, they might reschedule, but it’s best to check their policy when booking.
A: You'll get to try some really authentic Oaxaca Mexican food, and there are usually stops for tacos or sweet pastries and coffee. The exact tastings can vary a bit, but they're always delicious! Just let the tour guide know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Thinking about gifting the Mission District walking tour – thoughts?
I’m considering this food and history walking tour in San Francisco's Mission District for my foodie friend’s birthday. The price is unbeatable since it’s free! I love that it includes stops at Mission Dolores and tries authentic Oaxacan food. I’m just a bit worried about the walking part – is it too strenuous? Would love to hear from anyone who's done it!
Just did the Mission District walking tour and it was amazing!
Wow, I just finished the Mission District food and history walking tour and it was fantastic! The murals were so colorful, and trying that Oaxaca food was out of this world. Mission Dolores was a great stop too, really interesting history there. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a fun day in SF!
