Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Mix & Save tour?

A: There are no strict age restrictions for the Mix & Save tour. It’s a family-friendly experience! Just keep in mind that younger kids might need to be supervised during the cruise. Also, the bus tour is accommodating for strollers, but it’s best to check with the provider beforehand.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it cold on the cruise?

A: Dress in layers! The bus tour might start off warm, but it can get chilly near the water on the cruise, especially if it’s windy. A light jacket or sweater is perfect. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be doing some walking at Muir Woods and Sausalito.

Q: How's the parking situation near the departure point?

A: Parking can be tricky in San Francisco. I recommend using public transport if you can. If you drive, there are paid lots nearby, but they fill up quickly. Just plan to arrive early to find a spot or check for any street parking restrictions.

Just did the San Francisco Grand City Tour + Escape from the Rock Cruise!

Wow, what an experience! The views from the Golden Gate Bridge were just stunning. Muir Woods was like stepping into another world with those giant redwoods. The Escape from the Rock Cruise was a blast too. We got so many good photos circling Alcatraz! My only tip would be to bring snacks for the bus ride and wear comfy shoes. Can’t wait to gift this to my parents for their anniversary!

Thinking of gifting the Mix & Save tour, but concerned about the weather

I want to give this experience to my best friend for their birthday, but I'm worried it might rain in SF. Has anyone done this tour in drizzle? I know the views are killer, but will it ruin the experience? Should I wait for a sunnier day?
