Q&A
A: The Westwater Canyon rafting tour generally requires participants to be at least 12 years old due to the intensity of the Class III and IV rapids. It's a pretty wild ride, so younger kids might not have the stamina or strength. If you're thinking of bringing someone younger, I'd recommend discussing it with the provider beforehand to see if they can accommodate.
A: Yes, the rafting tour is weather dependent. If conditions are not safe, they will contact you to reschedule for a later date. It’s best to keep an eye on the weather forecast leading up to your experience and be flexible with your plans. They typically want everyone to have the best time possible, so they’re pretty accommodating.
A: You’ll definitely want to wear a swimsuit underneath, with quick-dry clothes on top. Water shoes or sandals with a strap are a must—trust me, you don't want to lose your shoes in the rapids! Also, a hat and sunglasses are great for sun protection. Sunscreen is essential too, since you’ll be out in the sun for several hours.

Thinking about gifting the Moab rafting tour – any tips?
I want to surprise my partner with a full-day rafting tour in Westwater Canyon! I hear there's tons of adrenaline with those rapids. Has anyone done this? What was it like? I want to make sure they have the best time possible, and I’m also curious about the lunch and snacks included. Is it enough for a full day?
Just finished the Westwater rafting tour, and WOW!
I just got back from the Westwater Canyon rafting tour and it was incredible! The rapids were so exciting—Sock-It-To-Me was my favorite! We saw a couple of bald eagles soaring above and even a family of otters. The guides were super friendly and made sure we were all safe. If you’re on the fence about this, just go for it! Totally worth it!
