Q&A
A: Yes, the Moab Rappeling Adventure typically has a minimum age requirement of around 12 years, but it can vary depending on the provider. It's always best to check directly with Paddle Moab for their specific policies. They may also have certain restrictions for younger participants if they don’t meet certain height or weight limits.
A: Comfortable athletic wear is best for this adventure. You'll want to wear clothes that you can move around in, and definitely close-toed shoes with good grip. Bring a light jacket as it can get chilly in the canyon. Don’t forget to wear sunblock and a hat since there can be a lot of sun exposure!
A: In case of bad weather, Paddle Moab typically has a rescheduling policy. They’ll notify you if conditions are unsafe for rappelling, and you can either reschedule or get a refund. Just make sure to check their terms before booking, as they can sometimes change based on the season.

Just did the Moab Rappeling Adventure and it was EPIC!
I went rappelling at the Medieval Chamber Slot Canyon last weekend and wow, what an experience! The first rappel into the slot was unreal, the sandstone colors were stunning. The second, 120-foot free hanging rappel next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge had my heart racing! Plus, the hike along Grandstaff Canyon afterwards was just perfect for winding down. Highly recommend it!
Thinking of gifting the Moab Rappeling Adventure—thoughts?
I’m considering this for my brother's birthday. He loves outdoors stuff but is kind of a chicken when it comes to heights. Is the experience manageable for someone who’s a bit nervous? Would love to hear any personal stories!
